There is something about very early mornings. It is tranquil, the world is at peace, just rousing from their rest. You can hear the sound of the birds like a gentle alarm sound, waking you up to another opportunity being presented to you.

And you can hear the voice of your heart, clearly without the clamouring of other voices that come in the course of the day. It’s my best time of the day, dedicated to seeking God and receiving from Him.

Not that I don’t seek Him at other times. But I find that when I seek Him early, I am very well equipped to deal with anything else the rest of the day brings. Whether at noon or at night, what I received early will carry me through it all.

Life is the same. Every situation we face have its early morning time, noon time and night time. Before a bad situation gets to its noon time where it gets ever so heated and more difficult to handle, seek God in its morning. Deal with it early.

Morning prayers set you up to receive the good of the day. Seek the LORD in the ‘morning’ of every situation, don’t leave that issue to fester. Receive instructions early, for your victory.

Don’t ignore it and allow it time to grow out of control. Take control and steer it in your favour, very early. Just like you command your day in the morning, command that situation in its morning!

With the morning of every situation comes brand new mercies to be able to tackle it. Let’s make good use of our new mercies every morning!

Prayer:

Father, thank You for giving us the insight and willpower to make use of all the resources at our disposal every morning.

Prayer, brand new mercies, the opportunity to hear you clearly very early before all the cares and clamour of the day take over our minds.

And as we do this we, receive wisdom, empowerment and strength. These help us to deal with anything that each day and situation brings to us, in Yeshua’s mighty name. #Selah.
