Evergreens are plants which have foliage that remains green and functional through more than one growing season. Their leaves tend to thrive through all the seasons all year round, year in year out.

Many of them are able to sustain this because they have roots that are deep seated into the ground. This means that they take their nutrients, not from the surface of the ground, but from deep, deep below the surface.

This is necessary because the nature of the soil in which they thrive dictates this. They have had to adapt in order to be able to survive in this type of ‘acidic soil environment’

God knows everyone of His children and has placed us in the right environment that will bring out the best in us.

For those who will thrive in every season of life because they have to go through it, you may take some time to develop the depth you need to sustain you through all these seasons.

It may take time to show fruits while you’re spreading your roots and growing a deeper foundation, but trusting in God is the best thing you can do for yourself during that time. You will never regret it.

However, as soon as your leaves show forth and your fruits start to sprout, no season of life will be able to break you.

You will be able to weather them all because growth may take time, but it brings longevity. And all that comes from the place of trusting your creator who planted you where you are!

Prayer:

I pray that the LORD will grant us all the patience to trust the process of growth that comes over time so that we may possess the stamina required for longevity and survival through every season of life that we may face, in Yeshua’s mighty name. #Selah
