Your Gift
With wisdom, I mean divine wisdom and not worldly wisdom that just manipulates, we can get anything we want from God that is according to His will. One of the ways we can ensure this is by using the gifts that we bring to Him.
When you want something from someone important who has the power to make it happen, say your boss for instance, you have a better chance if you’re in the habit of sincerely praising him, how good he is at his work, how you admire his etiquette, complimenting even the small things about him. If you do this normally and you mean it, the day you need a favour, if he is a good person, he will do everything within his power to ensure you get what you want.
.
.
In the same way, if you develop the habit and lifestyle of sincere, true and heartfelt praise and worship to God, you always show Him how much you admire Him, you tell Him how much you love Him, you tell Him how your whole life depends on Him and how much you’re grateful for His love and care for you and so on, the day you need anything from Him, you won’t have to say much.
.
Because He is a good God, He will consider the gifts you always bring to Him. He will think of how happy and loved you have made Him feel. Also, He will see the sincerity of your praise of Him and bless you with the desires of your heart.
.
So, always think of the next time you will need a favour from God. Don’t let Him hear your voice only when you need His intervention on a matter. Your constant gifts of praise to God gets you His full attention and into His throne room. Never come before Him empty handed!
I pray that our hearts will always overflow with praise and thanksgiving to God and that we will find favour in His eyes in the days that we need His hand to move on our behalf, in Yeshua’s mighty name. #Selah
