There Is a Reward
One of the ways in which you can motivate people continue to maintain or build upon positive behaviour is by operating a reward system.
For this to be effective, the reward has to be something the person will appreciate. For instance, a person who is intrinsically motivated will appreciate a reward that helps them develop their skills.
Another person who prefers extrinsic reward would appreciate financial (direct or indirect) reward. Both of these are to show the recipients that their positive behaviour or contribution has been noted, is appreciated and encouraged.
Similarly, in Yahweh’s kingdom, there is a reward, not just for positive behaviour, but also for negative behaviour. And the reward is not given just on the day of judgment. Our rewards start from while we are still here on earth.
Everything that we do here is on record. And someone somewhere down the line will get the reward. This person may be you or it may anyone in your future generation.
The children of Abraham, both biological and spiritual, are still reaping the reward of Abraham’s walk of faith with God. Judas, on the other hand received his own reward for betraying his Lord and Master Jesus to His killers. He lost his peace and ended up taking his own life.
Everyone gets their reward, no doubt. In the Kingdom of God, the kings’ reward is joy and the believers’ is glory, but liars are dumbfounded! Which one shall be your reward?
Prayer:
Father, thank You for teaching us to always do right so that we can be rewarded with life, peace, joy, blessings and everything good that You promised us in your word.
Please Lord, help us to keep our positive rewards intact by continuing to live our lives to please and honour You in every way. And may every lying tongue against us be stopped completely, in Yeshua’s mighty name. #Selah
