I have heard some people say that the Holy Spirit was not released on the earth until the day of Pentecost, which makes me wonder at such ignorance!

The Holy Spirit is eternal and has always been present every where. Not just on the earth, but in the heavens, the firmament, Galaxy, everywhere!

There are so many instances of the power and the presence of the Holy Spirit before the day of Pentecost.

When Yahweh was about to create the earth in the beginning, there had to be a stirring of the Spirit. No creation could have occurred without the move of the Holy Spirit.

Again, when Christ was to be revealed as a man, the power of the Holy Spirit was required to overshadow Mary in order for her to be able to conceive Him.

In the same way, for you and I to become new creations, conceived and reborn by God, we need to submit to the power of the Holy Spirit. In order to remain incorruptible as a born again child of God, submitting to this power is a continuous lifelong commitment.

And it is not what you proclaim or display on the outside that determines where you spend eternity. Only continuous submission to the Spirit who is able to create anew makes God’s kingdom attainable.

Being led by the Holy Spirit takes you from being a child of God to becoming a son of God. Grow into your inheritance in Christ through hearing and obedience to His divine guidance.

Prayer:

Father, please help us to always ensure that we remain new creations until Christ returns for us by submitting ourselves to Your divine power.

Help us to know, hear and obey the voice of the Holy Spirit at all times. Let His power continue to cleanse and move in our lives in greater measures in Yeshua’s mighty name. #Selah.
