Empathise, Don’t Judge

Considering how the world we live in largely is at the moment, we kind of live in self love, me, myself and I only bubbles. We tend to understand and know our own feelings, and act on them without thinking much of other people’s feelings.

And we forget that what we go through, others are going through also, perhaps going through even worse than us. We forget to empathise with those who have become what or who they are, because of their life experiences.

We hear of victims of abuse and somehow, we find a way of making it their fault. Thereby blaming them. We hear of those in prison and we sort of say, serves them right! Forgetting that they are also victims of an evil and decadent world just as we are. And that they need the love and mercy of a Saviour, just like we do!

We should always try to see things from the other person’s perspective. Judging out of ignorance doesn’t help build a strong, healthy relationship. Understanding does.

We need understanding and empathy to be able reach a lost and dying world. We don’t have to condone and excuse evil, but like Yahweh, we must know and identify that we are all flesh and all have our shortcomings.

That we may become all things to all men, just so that we can by all means save some!

Prayer:

Dear LORD, please help us to be understanding of other people’s issues of life. Help us to understand that grace works in even the ugliest of circumstances to bring out beauty and righteousness.

Help us to have empathetic hearts and not be judgemental. By this, help us to bring Your love to all those who need it in this time, and till Jesus comes. In Yeshua’s mighty name. #Selah.

Have a great day and stay safe under the blood ? Agape ❤️
