On Whose Side?

Posted OnAugust 3, 2020 0

When we say we are on the LORD’s side, how do we prove that? It’s not just by our words that we declare whose side we are on, the LORD’s or the world’s. How we live our lives clearly shows on whose side we stand.

You see, we can say, teach or preach anything. We can sell anything by the words of our mouth, but at the end of the day, talk is cheap.

In order to consolidate our words, there are some areas we also need to practically look after. Our flesh and it’s desires, our vision and goals that we build our lives around, and what we take pride and joy in.

Do you love these things more than you love Christ? Do these things come high up in your priorities above glorifying the Father?

You see, your body, eyes and everything you attain or own in life can either ensnare you or they can serve to glorify God. Love them and succumb to their sinful desires, then your love for Yahweh is questionable.

There is a need for each and everyone of us to daily reflect on this. How is my life currently? What is my greatest desire? What brings me pride and joy? My position and possessions in life or my position in and possession of God in my life?

Prayer:

Father, please help us to take pride and joy in the fact that our names are written in the Book of life. Help us not to gratify our flesh above Your Spirit.

Help us to have visions and goals that are built upon Your will, counsel and purpose for us. And do help us to show that we are on Your side and not on the side of the world through these in Yeshua’s mighty name. #Selah.

Have a great day and stay safe under the blood ? Agape ❤️
