We are always moving in one way or the other. Even when our bodies are at rest, the earth itself is still moving. You may not feel it, but the motion is there, continuously.

Life is like running or manoeuvring through an obstacle course. The obstacles are meant to slow you down. They require wisdom to navigate and avoid them making you lose in the game of life.

Life obstacles are however, not like the ones in your normal obstacle games. Those ones, you can navigate with your human wisdom. Once you know the course well and navigate it a few times, you can develop a strategy that helps you to win.

On the other hand, you don’t get to practice life obstacles. You don’t ever know which one is around the bend. Each course of life is different from your last and so, life can throw your way something that you’ve never had to overcome before.

You therefore, require the wisdom of someone who has already navigated your life and knows it very well; the course it will take. Every kind of obstacle that life can place in your path, He knows and understands how to conquer them.

This wisdom comes from the Holy Spirit alone. He is the wisdom of God. There is no stopping that person who lives by the wisdom of God. Whether you’re walking or running, your path will make the word obstacle, obsolete!

He will not them take away completely, but He will make it so that they never ever can stop or impede your speed. You soar, even when walking. And you keep moving, never ever stagnant!

Prayer:

Father, please help us to live by Your wisdom. We lean on You and realise how much we need You to navigate our lives.

Guide us by Your sweet Holy Spirit that we may never fall into the traps and pitfalls of life, and never to stumble over any seen or unseen obstacles in our paths, in Yeshua’s mighty name. #Selah.
