Every believer in Christ has been called to a life of the greatest sacrifice ever – to die in order to live. Die to the whims and whimsical of the flesh so that you may be alive to the Spirit.

Apart from saving us through His death, Jesus also demonstrated to us that when we lay down our lives for Him and allow our flesh to be completely subdued, we can be raised to a life that is eternal in righteousness.

That is when we ascend into the heavens like He did, and we take our place, seated with Him in heavenly places. It takes ongoing death to the things of the flesh to remain there with Him.

Whatever you’re alive to will take dominance in your life. Dead men don’t speak. Die to flesh and it is subdued. Be alive to the Spirit and He is magnified. On the other hand, die to the Spirit and He is subdued. Be alive to the flesh and the end result is dead works.

I pray that we will learn how to be dead to the things of the flesh so that we spend our lives here on earth chasing after the will of the Father, in Yeshua’s mighty name. #Selah
