Everything we do is a seed that will germinate to produce fruit. Everyone wants to harvest good things in their lives, but what we harvest depends on what we have planted.

If you plant good and healthy seeds through holiness, obedience to God and righteousness, you’re bound to be fruitful in all manner of desirable ways.

But you must be committed and consistent. Yes, even after your harvest has fully ripened, lest you allow the devourer in through careless living.

Living carelessly after being committed to holiness and righteousness is like a farmer who worked so hard to plant, water and weed their farm and then, by himself, calls in the foxes to eat up their harvest when it is ripe! May we not ruin our blessings with our own hands.

Living a life of holiness will make you fruitful in Christ and establish your everlasting life. Consecrate yourself, salvation is not about returning to your sinful life. Be intentional about it.

Prayer:

Father, thank You that You are able to keep us from falling as You uphold all things, including our faith, by the word of Your power.

Do help us to prioritise holiness, righteousness and obedience to you in all that we do, knowing that in due time, we shall reap a bountiful and befitting harvest, in Yeshua’s mighty name. #Selah
