In our lifetimes, we will all pass through some form of night times or stormy times. There will be times when things don’t seem to be going great for us.

We may even wonder, during those times, whether Yahweh has forsaken us or if we have sinned. There may be thoughts that we are being punished for our disobedience or what not.

Our LORD Yeshua also had times like this. Like when He was tempted in the wilderness. And He had that same moment in the Garden of Gethsemane. Also, He had it while He was on the cross and cried out to Father, asking why Father had forsaken Him.

But never for once did He sin against God in any of those greatly trying moments. He stood firm in His faith in God.

The LORD Yeshua never allowed His night moments to overwhelm Him. Never to the point is saying things that would cause Him to stumble.

Like I said earlier, we will have great times, and we will have trying times.
It’s not what you do or say when things are going well that matters. It is how you react to the night times.

It’s easy to bless God, love Him and say great and wonderful things about Him when you’re being blessed and all is going honky dory. However, what about those low moments.

What do you say when you’re not sure where your next meal is coming from. What thoughts do you entertain when that child seems to be misbehaving.

How do you handle it when that promotion that was due to you is handed to somebody else? Do you speak against the LORD in your heart or do you say I bless you LORD in all things and I give You thanks?

Be mindful of those trying times. Mindful of you words, your actions and your thoughts!

Prayer

Father, please give us strength and wisdom to know how to deal with the night times of our lives. Give us peace during these moments, LORD.

Help us to always hide Your words in our hearts so that we will not sin against You in our words thoughts and actions especially during these times in Yeshua’s mighty name. #Selah
