When you first realise that someone is doing something really, really bad to you, what would your first reaction be? What your thoughts are on the matter will depend on how you see their evil acts and it’s outcome.

You might feel anger, sadness or even fear! But the last thing you would want to do is to laugh at them, unless your understanding has been enlightened. You might want to retaliate, try to resolve it or run from the situation.

But because GOD sees beyond what we see, his first reaction is laughter at the antics of the wicked. He laughs at them, knowing the end of the matter. Yahweh laughs because He knows that no act of wickedness will go unrewarded, in full.

Don’t try to retaliate or fight for yourself. Vengeance belongs to Yahweh. If you’re led to try and resolve it, do so. If they resist, at least God sees that you have done the right thing!

Therefore, let not your heart be troubled. Every wicked plot against you has a day of its reckoning. As the LORD lives and avenges His own, that day will come and the wicked will pay. Be encouraged!

Prayer:

Father, thank You because You always defend Your own from any act of wickedness against them. Thank You for You never allow any of their acts and plots to prevail.

Do help us be at peace with this knowledge in our hearts. As we commit all our ways to You, please fight for us daily. And grant us everlasting victory in Yeshua’s mighty name. #Selah.
