Anyone who will live a godly and righteous life in Christ should expect to be tempted into falling away. It’s just natural and we cannot stop the temptation from coming.

As soon as you start to display the glory that comes from living a life that glorifies Yahweh, this is picked up both in the spirit realm and in the physical realm. And opposition is bound to arise.

As wickedness is in the world we live in, this will come against you to try and cause you to stumble. But our God is faithful and will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can take.

It takes wisdom and a discerning spirit to recognise an evil scheme meant to cause you to stumble. However, God strengthens the righteous and keeps them from falling.

As the LORD strengthens you to stand regardless of the traps, He will cause those setting the traps to be caught up in the web of their own wickedness. For it will not prosper.

On the other hand, your good Shepherd will lead you, His righteous servant, in the path of righteousness. This is so that you can honour His name in all your ways.

Stand strong in your faith. Be strong in the LORD and in the power of His might. Do not succumb to any evil schemes. And always check your spirit to be able to discern trouble in any situation.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the honour of being clothed fully in Your righteousness. Thank You for ensuring that we continue to display Your righteousness no matter the temptation that comes our way.

Please, empower us with more and more wisdom to be able to discern evil traps disguised to trick us into stumbling. That we may receive our reward from You in Yeshua’s mighty name. #Selah.
