It is very evident that Yahweh’s ways are not our ways neither are His thoughts ours. In many different ways, what we see as logical and right is very different to how GOD works.

For instance, one day with us is only twenty four hours. But with Him, it’s a thousand years!

Also, you have a right to self defence. If you get slapped on the right cheek, you should at least defend your left cheek from being slapped as well, right? But not so with GOD. You turn your left cheek as well.

It really doesn’t make sense to the unsaved human mind. The ways of Yahweh are far higher and superior than ours. In many ways, this is a blessing. If an action seems logical to me, I am learning to stop and check: Is this really God’s way?

I mean, who would give the rain and sunshine to both the righteous and the wicked? Who would allow weeds and the wheats grow together? Only Him! But in all these, you can see how His unconditional love is being undeniably displayed.

Likewise, in the world, being a servant is living in bondage. With GOD, being a servant to Him means living in complete freedom. All because our GOD is Love.

Your status as a servant of Christ is not bondage. It is freedom from sin, death, eternal damnation and the evil that pervades our world. And finally His ways would start to make sense because He lives and manifests Himself in you!

Prayer:

Dear Father, thank You for making Your ways known to us by Your Spirit. Please help us to never see service to You as bondage but as freedom from all that would restrict our lives.

Let us manifest Your glory by displaying your wisdom and acts in all the earth in Yeshua’s mighty name. #Selah.
