So many times, I find myself longing to be able to do things that I know are impossible to do in my own power. For instance, I hate seeing people suffering through sickness and I feel helpless when I can’t do much about it. It distresses me.

So I long for the same healing abilities that Jesus had. And only just so that I could help give someone joy and peace through divine healing. I guess this is why I was drawn to working in the health sector to start with and also why I found myself in the hospital outreach while I was in uni.

And to cap it up, lately people have been drawn to tell me about their health issues or their family members’. I believe you attract people who have the same problems as the burden you carry in your spirit.

So, why am I saying all these? There is a strong desire in every will that is submitted to the Father’s will. This is for the divine purpose of God to be fulfilled.

If you’re the type that’s says, ‘Father, not my will, but Yours be done” and you mean it with all of your heart, He will work in you to cause you to start desiring and longing for that which is His perfect will.

What you will start to desire may be way bigger than what you can achieve in your own strength. And yes, that could be really daunting. However, stop fighting that desire but rely on His grace!

Only by His divine grace can you will and actually do His will. He will also lead you to where you will be effective in His perfect will.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for it is You who work in us to desire Your designs and purpose for our lives.

Do please help us to fully submit under Your tutelage that our will may be fully embedded within Yours. May we never run away from the sheer magnitude of Your plans and purpose for our lives in Yeshua’s mighty name. #Selah.
