So you have a party and you hired and paid for the DJ. You give the DJ your playlist or preferred kind of music you want at your party. The DJ has to, by contractual obligation, play only what you have requested.

You have paid for the service, and you deserve to get what you paid for. If you didn’t, you would demand your money back. That’s the right thing to do.

However, the service that has been paid for, for your life, was not paid with money. It was paid for in blood. And you cannot demand this blood back. You have to either get the service when you demand or require it, or you just let it go.

You could let it go through ignorance, or maybe you just don’t care enough to make a demand on it. It could also be laziness or fear that keeps you away from going after that which belongs to you.

What you need to remember is that you could have won the war, but the battle still rages on just because your foe will not accept his defeat. That’s where your authority as the conqueror needs to come in.

Your win is yours to keep. Stand in your victory and don’t back down. Take your territory and make it yours as it rightfully is.

He who pays the piper calls the tune as they say. He who paid the price for your life has the final say over your life. Don’t let anyone enslave you who hasn’t died or cannot die for you!

Prayer:

Father, we can never thank You enough for giving us Your only begotten Son as our eternal sacrifice. The only sacrifice required for our freedom.

As His blood paid for our freedom, help us to maintain this freedom even though our enemy refuses to accept his defeat. Help us to stand our ground against being enslaved by anything or anyone.

We arise in Your name and live in the complete freedom that was all paid for in Yeshua’s mighty name. #Selah.
