Like A Tree
When a tree is cut down, as long the roots are still in the ground, there is hope that it will sprout branches and grow again. This is because the roots will continue to hold it down and give it nourishment. That’s hope.
And as long there is hope, all is never lost. Hope is the one thing that assures of a better future. Of purpose still being lived in full. But where there is no hope, all is lost, like when a tree is fully uprooted from the ground.
There are so many scriptures that liken the righteous to trees; Planted by the rivers, planted in the courts of our LORD, watered garden, He is the vine, we are the branches, and so and so forth. It is to signify how blessed we are when we walk, rooted in the will of Father.
It doesn’t matter what we go through in life, as long as we remain in Christ and He in us, we have hope. Our hope makes us not to be ashamed.
Any man planted in the LORD’s court is like a tree, they will always flourish. Even when “life” happens and seems to cut them down, they always will rise and still flourish.
Christ has said that nothing and no one will be able to pluck (uproot) us from His hands. He’s always got us. The storms, trials, travails and evil of this world will never uproot us from Him.
Stay in this place of assurance and all will be well with you. Like my little son said once, “it may not go the way we prayed for it to go, but it always turns out for our good in the end.” Do stay planted in the courts of our God and it will turn out for your good in the end.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for always watching over us to keep us grounded in You and Your word. Thank You for Your promise to keep us through whatever life brings our way.
As we journey through life, please help our heart to stay true and focused on You. Let nothing move or shake us into uprooting ourselves from Your courts in Yeshua’s mighty name. #Selah.
Have a great day and stay safe under the blood ? Agape ❤️
