Live on God’s Terms
There is a part of all of us that craves love and acceptance. Having this everywhere we go gives us a sense of security in who we are. This is how we were created.
Yahweh who created us Himself is love. And He made us to love and be loved. So, feeling unloved and unaccepted creates negative feelings in us. This is because hate was not a code that we have been wired to accept.
This is even more so when we are born again children of God who have the Holy Spirit living in us. For the world, some of their hearts are hardened to the point where they can hate and reject without feeling any remorse.
Some are also desensitised to hate and rejection where they have received it so much, it makes no difference to them. We, however, cannot join them. We have been called to show the world how love and grace work.
If you’re one of them, they will love you. If you turn your back on them, they turn their back on you. But which do you prefer; one day in the LORD’s court or a thousand in the tents of the wicked?
Jesus was hated, but He loves in return. He was rejected, but He accepts everyone who comes to Him. He was killed, but He repaid us with abundant life.
Let’s not be like them, but let us live like Him. Live in the world, but don’t live like the the world!
Prayer:
Father, please teach us to show love and grace towards others that we may truly be like you. Also when the world reject and hate us because of our love for you, please help us to not respond in kind.
Help us also, never to crave love and acceptance so much that we choose to go the same way as the world does, in Yeshua’s mighty name. #Selah.
Have a marvellous day and stay safe under the blood ? Agape ❤️
