So we have heard about how God punishes sin and how if you die in your sin, you’re hell bound. While these are true at the end of the day, what is even more of a truth than this is that God loves you beyond anything and will do anything to not have to punish you for your shortcomings. This love is displayed when He made Yeshua pay the ultimate price, sacrificing Him as an unblemished lamb offering for sin so that He can at least offer us a way out of an inevitable eternity of damnation.

The love of Yahweh for us is quicker to embrace and delight in us than to rebuke us. He’s a good, good Father! And He wants His best for us. Don’t let anything that you have done drive you further away from God, but let His grace and love draw you ever closer to Him. He can empower you to live above your shortcomings, but you need to take the first step of bringing them to Him in total surrender!

May the deep deep love of Christ be shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit as we draw closer to His throne of Grace. #Selah
